Now, we are onto the Eastern Conference…First up we have…

#1 Buffalo Sabres (53-4-3) vs #8 Florida Panthers (36-23-1)

The powerhouse Sabres come into the first round as Stanley Cup favourites as they dominated all season long and jew (GP-33 G-2 A-37 Pts-39), vito (GP-58 G-22 A-100 Pts-122), Capsfan (GP-56 G-124 A-117 Pts-241) will all be ready to show there season was no fluke and cruise to the cup and be hoisting it once the final whistle blows!. They will be taking on the Florida Panthers who honestly I thought weren't going to make the playoffs but here they are as I am proved wrong as they had a solid season and finished in the 2nd wild card spot. The trio of Perry (GP-44 G-68 A-75 Pts-143), Sampxr (GP-39 G-51 A-48 Pts-99), BJ (GP-35 G-39 A-50 Pts-89) will face a tough task in shutting down the Sabres and there high powered offence and balanced attack but is it impossible? Certainly not as if they can play grade A sound hockey they are capable of winning this series especially with EA always being involved you always have a chance…Do I see that happening? I do not as the Sabres took the season series from the cats in 4 games winning 3 of them quite handedly and losing the last one of the season when we all know the care level just isn't there and players just want the playoffs to start!

#2 Montreal Canadiens (42-17-1) vs #5 Ottawa Senators (38-18-4)

The Montreal Canadiens enter the first round with a second tag scandal hovering over their heads as owner Scoop was removed and blacklisted for willingly and knowingly using a 2nd tag in multyiple games this season, Can they rebound and put up a fight against these Sens? who in the second half were definitely one of the better teams after making moves and their captain finally getting a ps5, any team that can add Blades (GP-15 G-42 A-29 Pts-71) to the ice instantly becomes better. Tasked with trying to stop the Senators and salvage the Habs from disgrace will be Mawson (GP-55 G-74 A-90 Pts-164), Owner (former captain) Brann-the-mann (GP-43 G-48 A-87 Pts-135), Zesty (GP-23 G-61 A-32 Pts-93) who are all solid players and all put up respectable numbers. They still have the core intact and I see them putting up a good fight but ultimately falling to the Senators. Playing alongside Blades, Couture, great8 and Vxkingz prove to be just too much for these scandal rocked Canadiens even though the season series was split imo the Sens are just a better team and take this in 6.

#2 Carolina Hurricanes (45-10-5) vs #6 Toronto Maple Leafs

The Canes also enter the first round of the VGHL Stanley Cup finals with STATGATE hanging above their shoulders as Iamsmokxy was caught padding stats in multiple games resulting in his removal and BAN from the league! What is up with the cheating ? All this in a virtual hockey league that ultimately means absolutely nothing in your life? I just will never understand these children! The Hurricanes will now rely there playoff hopes on new owner and VG SUPERSTAR MTL-qc-450-514 (GP-56 G-111 A-116 Pts-227), captain BustDownDustiana (GP-41 G-7 A-86 Pts-93), and star forward Brxndamour (GP-40 G-118 A-71 Pts-189). Who takes on one of the hottest teams in the second half and going into the playoffs the Toronto Maple Leafs. The season series between these 2 teams was split 1-1 and I expect a great series from these two teams with ultimately in my unbiased opinion the Leafs squeeze this one out in seven games and advance to the second round. The Leafs have a top line with good chemistry and a good balanced attack on both sides of the puck which will be the difference in this series. Hypey (GP-54 G-79 A-94 Pts-173), Jags (GP-38 G-54 A-76 Pts-130) and Crowe (GP-17 G-9 A-32 Pts-41) prove to be to much and set the tone early for the series ultimately leading to the series win after 7 great games.

#4 New York Islanders (38-14-8) vs #7 New Jersey Devils (34-19-7)

Our last series in the East pits the Isles vs the Devils in which in my opinion might be one of the most even series in the playoffs. I look forward to watching this series unfold as longtime NHL vet but new NHL owner Shawn (GP-56 G-86 A-60 Pts-146) looks to take out some other longtime VG OG's in KJ (GP-51 G-35 A-79 Pts-114) and Evo (GP-50 G-19 A-48 Pts-67)! Helping Shawn in this series will be new additions Fishure (GP-23 G-35 A-39 Pts-74) and Hyper (GP-29 G-12 A-61 Pts-73) who were both picked up later on in the season to help make the Isles make a deep push! Isles management will have a tough task keeping the toxicity down from these 2 players if things start to go south as both have been known to not be the best teammates and be selfish players who put themselves first. The Devils experience and the addition of Wally from in season bidding added to a good roster already and I believe their cohesiveness and the way they play as a team and not facilitate one player will be the biggest factor in this series and gives the Devils the edge. The season series did end up being split 2-2 with both teams trading wins at the end of the season in the last 2 weeks. I just believe the Devils to overall and slightly be better as a team.
